It was our pleasure to welcome Tracy and her 10 friends as part of their annual trip away. They travelled all the way from New Hampshire to visit Scotland for a week. As part of their trip, we were honoured to take them for 3 days of Highland tours. They fitted a lot into the 3 days getting to the summit of both Cairngorm and Glencoe and taking an informative hike at the top of Cairngorm. They visited Plodda Falls, Urquhart Castle, Culloden Battlefields and Clava Cairns and managed to squeeze in a visit to Tomatin whisky distillery along the way.
It was so much fun to be included as part of their Scottish holiday and we hope they will come back and see us another time. Thanks again to them for choosing us.

In 1823, the Excise Act was issued in Scotland which made it less easy for illicit distilleries to operate. This effectively ‘legalised’ whisky distilling.
