Whatever your interest, High Spirits Tours can put together a Scotland tour to meet most people’s interests. A benefit of touring with High Spirits Tours is that we have some of the most comfortable vehicles available.
We have also designed some exciting tours to Scotland. From discovering the Isle of Mull to the Isle of Skye to Outlander location visits to Highland whisky enthusiasts tours we have prescribed tours that will meet the demands of all travellers.
There are many symbols of Scotland such as Highland Cows, thistles, Victorian railway bridges, mountains, deer, stunning white sandy beaches to name a few but arguably the two most recognised are whisky and golf. Scotland is known as the “home of golf” and thousands of visitors flock to the Old Course at St Andrews each year on a golfing pilgrimage to set foot on the sacred “Swilken Bridge”. Many of the world’s golfers will also have a love of the golden nectar Scotland has in abundance, whisky or whiskey depending on where you reside. At High Spirits Tours, we love to combine these pastimes. We can design a fantastic bespoke tour which will explore the Kingdom of Fife and include St Andrews and some of Scotland’s finest distilleries on the itinerary or simply put together a whole of Scotland golfing and whisky tasting trip to remember.
We would love to welcome you and ensure you leave relaxed and truly unwound. We are here to ensure you have a memorable trip which runs smoothly and causes you absolutely no stress.
We have had a busy week! High Spirits Tours were on tour last week. Firstly, we had a fantastic Outer Hebrides adventure where my guests had a few days of getting back to nature, including feeding some Alpacas near the Callanish Stones. Not something you can do every day. It’s the sort of experience we love at High Spirits Tours. They chose us as their tour partners for their islands adventure tour.
Morag the Morgan was also busy with two classic car hires in Scotland and also being used as a makeshift van for our trip to Visit Scotland Expo at the Scottish Exhibition Centre in Glasgow. We met some amazing tourism companies and some interesting people from all over the world who love Scotland as much as we do. Hopefully, we can get to meet some new people and help provide them with a luxury Scottish tour.
We cater for so many tastes at High Spirits Tours. Whether you are interested in a full blown whisky enthusiasts tour, a Scottish island hopping tour, a tour of the peaceful Southwest of Scotland, a Scottish food and drink discovery tour or a Scottish history tour, we can put together the perfect itinerary for you.
We can be contacted through this website and you can use our bespoke touring function to detail your interests and see what kind of tour we can come up with. Hope to see you over the coming months.

I can honestly say I am truly grateful for the incredibly kind reviews I have so far received from people from all areas of the world who have come to visit Scotland and have paid hard-earned cash to use me as their tour operator for their visit.
I have been used for days out for couples, whisky tours (or whiskey tours :-)), Speyside whisky tours, Highland whisky tours, island hopping tours, Scottish Highlands tours, tailor-made Scottish tour, gin tours…. the list can go on! These tours have been special for me for many reasons too. I have left the corporate world behind and have been reawakened to my own little country poking out into the Atlantic Ocean! People are so interested in our history, culture, people and of course our fine spirit! I have even been told by French guests that it is, in fact, possible to get excellent food and wine in Scotland. This is probably my proudest moment! 🙂
My favourite season is now here. Autumn/ fall, golden and crimson with crisp, bright mornings is one of the best times to visit Scotland for the light and colour. I have great heating in the van as well as air-conditioning, so we can still have some amazing tours in the cooler months. Contact us if you would love a warming dram tour in autumn or winter (as the weather will permit) we will get on the road to enjoy Scotland at all times.
As always we are available for your Scottish tours and tailor-made holidays. We will be happy to quote you for your Scottish, bespoke package.
We hope to welcome you soon!

Whether you’re a staunch fan of “a wee dram” or simply want to discover more about what is arguably Scotland’s most famous export, whisky distillery tours are always a treat.
Many Scottish distilleries boast amazing histories, as well as use a variety of highly individualised techniques and processes to create their distinctive malts.
Take a look below to discover more about five of the most intriguing and well-known distilleries in Scotland, as well as details of the tours you can take to discover more and enjoy some exceptional sampling.
Can’t Decide? View All Our Tours Here:
Included as part of the Highland Whisky Enthusiasts Discover Tour, the Glenmorangie distillery has been producing premium single malt whisky for over 150 years. Created in Scotland’s tallest stills and skilfully matured in premium casks, the smooth, complex flavour is a perennial favourite. The distillery is particularly regarded for its use of casks (wood), as the whisky is matured first in ex-bourbon casks, then in ex-wine casks. This process adds additional notes to the final taste.
An absolute “must visit”, the Ardberg Distillery forms part of the popular Islay Whisky Enthusiasts Discovery Tour. If you crave award-winning whisky, Ardbeg is the place to go. In the past few years, the whisky has won a range of significant accolades, including World Whisky of the Year and World’s Best Single Malt. Phenolic malt and soft water from the distillery’s own supply are thought to be part of the secret behind Ardberg’s remarkable flavour, which is a firm favourite with whisky lovers across the globe.
The Speyside lucky dip whisky tour is a golden opportunity to enjoy a selection of different distillery experiences in the Speyside area. When it comes to distillery density, Speyside probably comes close to the top of the pile! Home to well-known names such as Aberlour, Benrowmach, Cragganmore and Glen Moray distilleries, there are plenty of opportunities to try some of the best malts out there! Four different distilleries are picked at random to form the basis of the tour, so whisky lovers will benefit from an element of surprise in their tour destinations!

The Isle of Mull and the island of Iona are the location for the unforgettable Magical Mull Discovery tour, which includes a visit to Tobermory distillery. One of the longest trading commercial distilleries in Scotland, Tobermory distillery is located on the Island of Mull. The distillery boasts two single malts, each with a markedly different flavour. Whether you prefer a fruity malt or long for a smoky, more tangy choice, the Tobermory distillery won’t disappoint.

The Luxury North Coast 500 tour is perfect for visitors who want to explore the Balblair distillery in more detail. Established in 1790, the distillery prides itself on perfect maturation times and the production of award-winning whisky that is beautifully crafted by a highly skilled and dedicated team.
