For all lovers of the TV series “Outlander”, this tour is a must for your Scottish visit.
The starting point for this tour will be Edinburgh or Glasgow. If another meeting point is preferred this may require an additional travel day. Please enquire on booking.
This leisurely tour will discover the famous sites used by the programme and will give the true history around the sites as well as be marvelling at the spectacle of the surrounding scenery. All of these sites are around the Fife/ Edinburgh area making it easy to discover all the villages along the way. Also included in the tour will be a whisky distillery. This will give an insight into the methods of a traditional craft that have carried on in Scotland to this day.

-Doune Castle (Castle Leoch)
-Culross village (Cranesmuir)
-Aberdour Castle (Abbey of Ste. Anne de Beaupre)
-Glencorse Old Kirk (Claire and Jamie married here)
-Preston Mill (mill on Lallybroch estate)
-Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison)
-Blackness Castle (Fort William)
-Falkland Palace/ Village (Inverness)
-Deanston Distillery (Wine warehouse)
-Hopetoun House (Parisian street)
Meals are not included on this tour but nearby eateries can be suggested depending on your desires.
Day 1 – 4
Set off from Edinburgh or Glasgow (other pick-up points possible on request)
This tour trails some of the fantastic buildings and locations used by the hugely popular TV show “Outlander”. The objective of the tour is to allow “Outlander” enthusiasts to spend as much time as they please at the locations and get a feel for the real history of the places. The following sites will be visited on our tour:
Doune Castle (Castle Leoch on Outlander)
Culross (Cranesmuir on Outlander)
Aberdour Castle (Saint Anne de Beaurpe Monastry on Outlander)
Glencorse Old Kirk (Jamie and Claire wedding location)
Preston Mill (used for scenes during the Jacobite Risings)
Linlithgow Palace (used as Wentworth Prison where Jamie was imprisoned)
Blackness Castle (used as a site to represent Fort William)
Hopetoun House (used to represent Parisian streets)
Deanston Distillery (used on Outlander as a wine warehouse)
Falkland (represents Inverness in Outlander)
What’s not included?:
-all food. This is at discretion of each guest. Great restaurants will be suggested. Booking may be possible (subject to availability. Earlier the better for booking.)

– Luxury – Superior high level accommodation likely to be graded 5* by the Scottish Tourist Board and likely to include dinner in the package. Availability for this can be limited in some areas.
